About me

Finding the right counsellor can feel overwhelming, particularly when you’re already navigating something difficult. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to our work together — feeling safe, understood, and accepted creates the foundation for meaningful change.

People often come to therapy with their most vulnerable parts. Being met with kindness, care, and genuine understanding matters deeply to me. My path into counselling grew from a long-standing interest in people, their inner worlds, and what it feels like to be human. I am motivated by supporting others to understand themselves more fully and move towards lives that feel more connected and fulfilling.

Before training as a counsellor, I worked in both the media and charity sectors as an Art Director. Although different in focus, both roles centred on supporting people to grow and reach their potential. Outside of my work, I enjoy gardening, walking, art, and spending time with my family and animals — interests that continue to shape how I think about balance and wellbeing. Alongside my private practice, I also volunteer with a counselling service and support people with a range of difficulties.

We may look at both what’s happening for you now and experiences from the past. Sometimes patterns formed earlier in life can still influence how we feel or relate to others, even when they no longer feel helpful. Gently understanding these patterns can help create more choice, freedom, and awareness in your life today.

If you’d like to explore whether we might work well together, you’re very welcome to get in touch by email. I offer a free 30-minute initial call, allowing you to ask questions and see whether I feel like the right counsellor for you.
